Vehicle Provenance

The car was purchased new from Thomasville Ford in Georgia. I am not yet sure of who the original owner is — I am still researching.
Terry Strickland purchased the car in Georgia on 6/23/1975. I have a tag renewal document dated 1987. He passed away on 2/9/2015.
Chad Dixon purchased the car on 3/19/1988 with 70,400 miles stated on the registration report.
Michael Gunterman in Kansas was the next owner. I have receipts dating to 1989 with mileage shown as 70,642. I have a tag renewal dated 1997 with mileage showing 75,000. This was the last time the car was registered. I have the machine shop receipts dated 1999 — the block has been sleeved and even the VIN stamp looks "wonky." I believe it to be the original engine block due to date codes and assembly date stamp.
Billy Pickens out of Slaton, TX purchased the car in 2001 and did very little to the car except disassemble and attempt to repair the floor pans.
I am the 6th owner. I purchased the car in November of 2020 and have begun the process of restoration.
